Why is it that a teenager surrounded by little kids is somehow wiser and more mature than when surrounded by his or her peers? Something happens when we're put in charge of others; it changes how we view ourselves in a way that affects not just our actions but also our way of viewing the world. This session will look at some research behind that phenomenon and how this experience can open up leadership and professional opportunities in the future.
