In this session we’ll explore ta’amei hamikra — the cantillation marks in the Bible. From their origin as a creation of the Masoretes over 1,000 years ago, this complex system has served as a powerful tool for understanding these sacred texts, and communicating them in a way that reflects the meaning of each phrase.
