The beauty and the richness of Shabbat can be so sweet that it is difficult to see it come to an end. The symbols of the Havdallah ritual engage our senses and help us acknowledge the transitional time between Shabbat and the rest of the week. This will be followed by music and songs of the Melavah Malkah, capturing the spirit of joy and optimism for the future and its possibilities. Soulful songs will be offered by Janice Rubin, JB Levine, and friends.
